American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position at an acute care facility in Kansas, requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a 23-bed Med/Surg Orthopedics unit
• General medical/surgical and orthopedic surgery patient population
• Standard patient ratio of 1:6, with occasional 1:7 possible
• Float to Med/COVID unit may be required, with ratios of 1:3–1:4
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend or every third weekend required

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• BSN not required
