Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with a CA RTT license and a minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience for a 13-week travel contract in a hospital Radiation Oncology department.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts with a 0700–0800 start time
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses MOSAIQ for electronic medical records
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam preferred

Requirements

• Active CA RTT license required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred

Additional Information

• Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
• Assess patient status during direct interaction and make appropriate referrals to health care team members
• Prepare for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, EMR checks, and treatment calendar programming
• Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed
• Collaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members on additional tasks as needed
