American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN for an Outpatient Surgery position at an acute care hospital, requiring 3 years of experience and ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years.

Details

• Outpatient surgery unit within an 81-bed acute care hospital
• Newly built, high-tech outpatient surgery center
• Ambulatory and phase II recovery patient population
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 hours (9:30–18:00)
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Ambulatory surgery and/or phase II recovery experience within the past 2 years required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care
• Develops and manages interdisciplinary care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Maintains collaborative relationships among patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• RN scrub color is navy blue
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
• Located in Tracy, CA — close to the Bay Area, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and a variety of local dining, arts, and entertainment options
