Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring ACLS, BLS, and Epic experience with on-call responsibilities.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
• When no CVOR cases are scheduled, staff are expected to assist in the general OR
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis
• On-call required every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month
• Holiday coverage required on an as-needed basis
• Charting is done in Epic (experience required)
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA) or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability to care for COVID-positive patients

Additional Information

• A clinical screening will be conducted to assess clinical fit prior to manager review; interviews with the hiring manager are required
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) for the duration of the contract
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
