Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and on-call availability including weekends.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• On-call required every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month
• Weekend work required as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• When no CVOR cases are scheduled, nurses are expected to assist in the general OR
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active PA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Additional Information

• A clinical screening review will be conducted to assess clinical fit prior to manager review; a manager interview is required
• May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients
• This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• Maximum of 7 days of time off (RTO) permitted for the duration of the contract; all requests must be disclosed upfront
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
