American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a medical center in Iowa, requiring at least 1 year of experience and certifications including ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a medical center setting
• Dual-role position: RNs cover Med/Surg patients and rotate to the ED side when emergency patients arrive
• Average daily census (ADC) of 3 patients
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Schedule includes every 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Holiday rotation required — assignment will include at least one holiday
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), PALS or ENPC, NRP, TNCC, and NIHSS
• COVID vaccination documentation required

Additional Information

• Nurses primarily care for Med/Surg patients and transition to the ED side as needed when emergency patients present
• Local candidates are accepted for this position in Iowa
