American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN for a long-term care setting in Rochester, MN, requiring at least 2 years of LPN experience and 3 travel assignments for this facility location.

Details

• Long-term care setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 3 days per week, totaling 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting; prior EMR experience preferred
• Flexibility required for days, evenings, nights, holidays, weekends, and on-call situations

Requirements

• Current LPN license per applicable state requirements (MN or WI); active license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience and/or 3 total travel assignments required for this Rochester, MN facility
• Long-term care experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
• If graduation occurred more than 2 years ago, 1 year of LPN experience in an applicable setting is required
• Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination and booster required

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of an RN or designated supervisor, accepting delegation to meet patient and family needs
• Collects observational data to assist the RN and/or provider with patient assessment and care planning
• Delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan, organizational policies and procedures, and principles of relationship-based care
• May participate in committees, projects, or quality improvement initiatives
• Up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment may be subject to cancellation due to low census
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
• RTO requests must be disclosed upfront for consideration
