American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level I Trauma facility in Philadelphia, requiring a PA or compact RN license and a minimum of 3 years of OR experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Level I Trauma center environment
• Patient population includes liver and kidney surgical cases
• Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Float requirement: travelers may be assigned to the GI unit or a satellite surgery center
• Per 6-week schedule: two weekend night shifts required (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Holiday coverage required: one summer and one winter holiday on-call shift, plus one summer and one winter holiday worked (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Charting system: Cerner

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license required
• BSN required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Liver and kidney surgical experience required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of current certifications required for consideration

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted, though a local rate differential applies
• 13-week contract
