Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong orthopedic experience and an active FL or compact RN license for a 13-week travel contract requiring on-call availability.

Details

• Hospital operating room (OR) setting
• Scheduled shifts on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour days)
• 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• On-call required
• Floating may be required to OR units at sister campuses, all located within 15–20 minutes of each other
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, verifiable through Nursys
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Strong orthopedic (ortho) surgical experience required
• Degree accreditation documentation required, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing (BON)
• Two references required for consideration: one within the past year, and one additional reference
• Full demographic information required, including address, email, full date of birth, SSN, and RN license number
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on a Friday; nurses must be present at the facility in person for badge/ID issuance
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and will not be accepted after an offer is made
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to sister campus OR units
