American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric OR position requiring a WA or compact RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 5 years of OR experience.

Details

• Work in an Operating Room setting within a pediatric hospital environment
• Pediatric patient population with congenital conditions, medical conditions, and injuries
• Facility operates 8 ORs
• Circulate across a variety of pediatric surgical cases including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, and urology
• Epic EMR used; prior experience preferred
• 12-hour night shifts (1900–0700) or 8-hour night shifts (2300–0700)
• 36 hours per week
• No floating required
• No weekend rotation required
• On-call is optional
• Holiday coverage is optional

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience
• Ability to circulate pediatric OR cases across multiple specialties including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, and urology

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) are required prior to start; one reference may be submitted for initial consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
