American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a High Risk Antepartum position in an OB Special Care Unit, requiring active RN licensure and a minimum of one year of experience.

• Position is based in an OB Special Care Unit (High Risk Antepartum)
• Night shift schedule, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)
• Cares for high-risk antepartum patients requiring specialized monitoring and interventions

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required; Level 1 experience of 1–2 years preferred for consideration
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (all from the American Heart Association): BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) — all must be current upon hire
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Additional Information

• Manages an assigned group of high-risk antepartum patients, including monitoring physiological data and intervening as necessary
• Administers medications, initiates and monitors IV infusions and blood products
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and changes in physician orders
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Educates patients and families on care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions
• Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals to appropriate personnel as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• After a total of 26 weeks (including any extensions), candidates must have a 6-month separation before being eligible for another contract at this facility
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, medical requirements) is strictly enforced and must begin immediately upon booking — non-compliance may result in cancellation
