American Traveler is hiring a CA-licensed RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehab position requiring acute rehab experience, with the ability to float to MCU/Tele.

Details

• 10-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics, with primary focus on adults to geriatrics
• Float requirement to MCU/Telemetry department
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute healthcare setting required
• Acute rehab nursing experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Manages patient and family experience through critical thinking, teamwork, and nursing judgment across the full care continuum from admission to discharge
• Directs activities of ancillary staff and collaborates with physicians and allied support services
• Applies the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to address physiological, psychosocial, safety, and self-care needs
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
