American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a NM or Compact RN license, AHA-issued BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or ATCN certifications.

Details

• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Emergency Services department within a regional medical center
• Work environment includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — all must be active and non-expired
• TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Strong knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
• Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations; must be capable of prolonged standing, walking, heavy lifting, and fine motor tasks
• US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety consistent with unit standards
• Reports to the Patient Care Director or Manager
• If certifications are held at time of hire, they must be maintained with no grace period for renewal
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates — local candidates are not accepted unless explicitly noted on the position
