American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at an academic medical center in Ohio, requiring an active OH RN license and 2+ years of clinical nursing experience.

Details

• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) within a large academic medical center in Ohio
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekday and some weekend shifts required
• Float to lower acuity units as needed
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS and IV Certification
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include IV insertion and management, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and patient education on treatments and self-care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team on individualized patient care plans
• Travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• No break required between assignments when changing representation at this facility
