American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications, with night shift availability and prior travel experience preferred.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Epic used for documentation; experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required; less may be considered
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered — check with your recruiter for details
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before starting as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted — candidates must apply individually
• Navy scrubs required
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
