American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pulmonary/Thoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in a Pulmonary/Thoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, varies
• 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA or Compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — all must be AHA-issued and non-expired
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Pulmonary/Thoracic or PCU specialty
• Step-down unit or ICU background preferred; strong acute care experience will be considered
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff returning as travel nurses must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
