American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Progressive Care night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Neuro Progressive Care unit within an academic medical center
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Active AHA or RQI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions (signed by a licensed professional) are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be accepted

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs are required
• A Neuro-Progressive competency exam must be completed upon offer — candidates have 2 attempts to pass
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
