American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Orthopedics unit position requiring 2-3 years of ortho experience, ACLS certification, and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Orthopedics unit of a short-term acute care, teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Floating required to all 3 affiliated hospitals (Martin North, South, and Tradition — within 20 miles)
• Block schedule may be discussed during the interview but is based on unit needs
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry or acute care experience required; 2 years preferred
• 2–3 years of orthopedic nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• This is a 13-week assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial application — RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
• This is a nicotine-free facility; all travelers must be nicotine-free with no exceptions — a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required
• Travelers must complete time-sensitive onboarding modules promptly upon confirmation of assignment
• White scrubs are required
• Travelers may not work more than 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
