American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of M/S Telemetry experience and an active WV or compact RN license.

Details

• Night shift position: 19:00–07:30
• 3rd Floor Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Medical/surgical and telemetry patient population
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, subject to fluctuation based on census and staffing
• Meditech EMR in use
• Schedule follows a 36/48 rotation — 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next, within a two-week pay period
• No block scheduling

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry (M/S Tele) experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is conducted on a bi-weekly schedule
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted
• Travel pairs are generally not permitted for this position
