American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position in Biddeford, ME, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active telemetry and cardiac care skills.

Details

• Work on a 45-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit (4th Floor) in an acute inpatient hospital setting
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and cardiac acute inpatient cases
• Night shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Patient ratios: 1:4–5 on days, 1:5–6 on nights
• Every other weekend required
• 1 on-call shift required per 8-week block
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Epic
• Float requirement: may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS required (preferred per some notes — BLS and ACLS both listed as required in certifications)
• Telemetry certification or demonstrated telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Acute inpatient medical-surgical and cardiac/telemetry experience required
• IMC (Intermediate Care) experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system in the past 12 months should disclose this at the time of application
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any facility in the health system (including residents of ME or NH) are considered local and are subject to a different pay rate
• Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
• Any color scrubs acceptable; hoodies and earbuds are not permitted
