American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, PALS, and Cerner experience, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities on an as-needed basis
• Cerner EMR charting required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (AHA and RQI formats accepted)
• Minimum 18 months to 2 years of ER experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required
• First-time travelers must have 2–3 years of ER experience to be considered

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with sufficient ER experience are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted for this ER position
• Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RN candidates who are current or recent permanent or PRN employees of IU Health must have been away from the organization for at least 12 months before being considered
• Indiana-licensed RNs are not eligible for ER positions at IU Health facilities; this restriction does not apply to Compact license holders residing outside Indiana
