American Traveler is hiring a Chemo Certified RN for a Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit position requiring 3 years of experience, telemetry certification, and prior travel experience.

Details

• Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes oncology, cardiac, and vascular cases
• Procedures and interventions include chemotherapy infusions, cardiac GTTs with limited titration, TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, Lead Extraction, TR Bands, complex PCI angiogram, dysrhythmias, vascular procedures, hemodialysis (RN administers HD at bedside), and pre-open heart care
• Nurse Telemetry Driven Protocol used to assist with patient throughput
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active WA state or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Telemetry certification required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
• Experience with cardiac GTTs required
• Experience with Epic EMR

Additional Information

• Administer and monitor chemotherapy infusions and cardiac GTTs per telemetry-driven protocols
• Block schedule requests are not available for this position
• Maximum of 5 days of time-off requests will be considered
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
