Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit requiring at least 3 years of experience, telemetry certification, and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac, oncology, and vascular cases
• Procedures and cases include cardiac GTTs (limited titration), TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, Lead Extraction, TR Bands, complex PCI Angiogram, dysrhythmias, vascular procedures, hemodialysis (RN administers HD in room), chemotherapy infusions, and pre-open heart
• Nurse Telemetry Driven Protocol used to assist with patient throughput
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Block schedule requests are not accepted
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active WA state or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Telemetry certification required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience required
• Experience administering chemotherapy required
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Experience with cardiac GTTs required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer chemotherapy infusions and manage telemetry-driven protocols for cardiac and oncology patients
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO will be considered for this position
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront
