Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care facility in California, requiring Epic and InterQual proficiency with no first-time travelers considered.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a Case Management unit
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• Caseload ratio of 1:20
• At least 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
• EMR: Epic (required)
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN Case Management experience required
• Experience must be current acute hospital Case Management experience; candidates who have not worked in the role within the last 6 months will not be considered
• Proficiency in InterQual required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Business casual attire with a lab coat, or dark solid scrubs with a lab coat required
• RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of submission; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
