American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Breast Surgery/Oncology Clinic position, primarily based in Edmonds, WA, requiring oncology experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting serving a breast surgery and oncology patient population
• Patients include high-risk cancer patients and individuals genetically predisposed to breast cancer
• Primarily based at the Edmonds clinic, with occasional floating to the First Hill and Issaquah clinics
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour day shifts)
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating between facilities within the state may be required

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Oncology Certified Nurse (ONC) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Outpatient or ambulatory clinic experience required
• Oncology experience (inpatient or outpatient) required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include telephone triage, new patient intake calls, surgical teaching, drain care, and coordination of care
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• First week of orientation/training takes place at the First Hill clinic
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent employees of a non-Swedish Providence facility must have been separated for at least 3 months to be eligible
• All requested time off must be communicated at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position
