American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Newborn Nursery position in California, requiring an active CA RN license, NRP certification, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Details

• Newborn Nursery unit within a hospital setting
• Provides age-appropriate care to pediatric and neonatal patients with consideration of developmental, psychosocial, safety, and communication needs
• Shift options include days (7:00–19:00) or mid-shift (11:00–23:00), scheduled as 3x12-hour shifts, depending on unit needs
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• NICU and/or Postpartum experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Additional Information

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
• Two supervisor references from within the past two years are required for consideration
