Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and availability for all shifts including variable AM and PM rotations.

Details

• Emergency Department setting at a hospital in Kauai, Hawaii
• Variable shift availability required, covering AM (7:00–19:00) and PM (19:00–7:00) shifts, as well as 8-hour day, evening, or night shifts
• Schedule is based on an 80-hour, two-week pay period
• Floating to Long Term Care or ICU departments required as needed
• 10-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of two days: Day 1 covers HR onboarding (fingerprinting, ID badge, policies and procedures), safety orientation, risk and quality management, and IT orientation; Day 2 focuses on EMR training
• Day 1 orientation begins at 10:00 AM with HR
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
• Must be available to start on the target start date — no exceptions
