Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience, with multi-campus float potential and every-other-weekend availability.

Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Tele unit with potential floating to the Stepdown unit as needed
• Float coverage may be required across multiple campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine)
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts with a 0645 start time
• Every other weekend required
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; active IA RN license also required — if IA license is not active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license must be provided
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Stepdown or cardiac experience preferred
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Driver's license required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
