American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at an acute care hospital in Mission Viejo, CA, requiring Epic proficiency, stroke experience, and on-call availability.

• 488-bed acute care hospital setting in Mission Viejo, CA
• Interventional Radiology unit
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30)
• On-call required: 12 calls per 6-week period, including one weekend
• Minimum every other weekend required; may exceed based on unit needs
• Floating required between like units, including possible float to Providence Mission Laguna and other facilities within the state
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available on site
• Royal blue scrubs required for RN staff

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Stroke experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside within 30 miles of the facility to meet on-call stroke response requirements
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Block scheduling requests are considered at the manager's discretion
