American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position in Montana, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Position is based in an acute oncology unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)
• Epic is used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need and within scope of competency
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana (MT) or a valid compact RN license — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology RN experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required; must not expire prior to assignment start
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for oncology patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN and unit-specific certification are preferred
