American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level II Nursery and Postpartum position in Colorado, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and at least one year of clinical experience.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital-based Level II Nursery and Postpartum unit
• Patient population includes antepartum patients, laboring patients, postpartum patients, and well newborns through Level 2 Nursery care
• Rotating shift schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or valid compact state license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include caring for antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients, with a focus on family-centered and relationship-based care
• Duties include patient triage, medication administration, treatments, patient and lactation education, and care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Must demonstrate strong assessment, prioritization, critical thinking, and delegation skills in accordance with Colorado nursing statutes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is expected
