American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Acute Dialysis position in Janesville, WI, requiring an active WI or compact RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Inpatient acute dialysis unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Rotating holiday schedule
• On-call responsibilities shared among the team, averaging 3–4 days per month and one weekend per month

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license, currently in hand prior to start
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior inpatient acute dialysis nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state practice standards
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
• Applies critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
