Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU/Stepdown (3 South) position requiring prior PCU/Stepdown experience and an active KY or Compact RN license.

Details

• PCU/Stepdown unit (3 South) in a regional medical center setting
• Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4-5, subject to fluctuation based on census and call-ins
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Schedule follows a 36/48-hour rotating weekly pattern (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) on a two-week pay period
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or Compact RN license valid in Kentucky
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required, maintained per NIH regulations
• Prior PCU/Stepdown experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
