American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV NICU position in Minnesota, requiring a minimum of 2 years of NICU experience and proficiency with advanced ventilation modalities.

Details

• Level IV NICU in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes critically ill newborns, pre-term infants, and ELBW infants requiring advanced respiratory and surgical support
• Experience with assisted ventilation including high-frequency ventilators (JET and Oscillator), conventional vents, and non-invasive methods such as bubble CPAP, RAM cannula, and HFNC required
• Pre- and post-op care of critically ill newborns, including those with tracheostomies
• Day and night shifts available, with a primarily night shift schedule
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Strong knowledge of developmental care principles
• Proficiency with advanced ventilatory support equipment including high-frequency ventilators, conventional vents, bubble CPAP, RAM cannula, and HFNC

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a high-acuity Level IV NICU environment
• Permanent placement consideration may be explored upon contract completion
