American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Dialysis position in South Burlington, VT, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient dialysis clinic setting located in South Burlington, VT
• Patient population consists of ESRD chronic renal patients
• Shifts vary and may include 8-, 9-, 10-, or 12-hour day shifts as needed
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with Saturday work required
• Floating to satellite locations in St. Albans and Berlin is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR experience is required
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor (one from within the past 6 months, one from within the past year of employment)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provides nursing care to chronic renal patients in an outpatient dialysis setting
• Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• NY-licensed candidates may be considered with proof of a pending VT license included
• No block scheduling is permitted for any reason
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained in work history
