American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring NICU experience in a Level I trauma setting, AHA certifications, and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) department within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule working 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• NICU experience in a Level I trauma setting is required for this role

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• NICU experience in a Level I trauma setting required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, regulating IV infusions and blood products, and delegating tasks to support staff
• Collaborates with physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicates care plans and discharge information to patients and families
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may work a maximum of 26 weeks total (including any extension) and must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for another contract
• Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — candidates must be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon accepting an offer
