American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Labor & Delivery position requiring Cerner experience and the ability to perform specialized high-risk obstetric procedures.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with a 153-bed facility
• Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Labor & Delivery unit specializing in high-risk obstetric care
• Patient population includes complex maternal conditions such as neurological disorders, kidney disease, cystic fibrosis, cancer, bleeding/clotting disorders, autoimmune disorders, IUGR, placental concerns, maternal cardiac disease, multi-gestational pregnancies, diabetes (gestational, Type 1, Type 2), fetal anomalies, substance use disorder (SUD), and other medical complexities impacting pregnancy
• Specialized procedures include amniocentesis, amnioinfusion, non-stress testing, CVS testing, and phlebotomy
• High-risk obstetric ultrasound monitoring performed on unit
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 8:00–19:59
• Charting performed in Cerner (experience required)
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted) must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 18 months to 2 years of L&D or MFM RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Nursing degree from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation

• RTO of 5 days or fewer can be auto-approved
• Any prior permanent or PRN employee of this health system must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to apply as a traveler
