Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Iowa, requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and a completed travel contract.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA RN license (single-state or compact) required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• At least 1 prior travel contract required
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred
• Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Travelers who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time off requests during the Thanksgiving (11/26–11/30) and winter holiday (12/23–1/2) windows are limited to 1 day per period
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
