American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring prior house supervisor experience and a current CA RN license.

Details

• Hospital house supervisor role overseeing facility-wide operations and all departments
• Day shift schedule: 2x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Serves as administrative liaison across all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians
• Provides functional guidance and oversight to all units during hours when permanent leadership is not on-site

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification highly preferred
• Previous experience as an RN House Supervisor required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Represents hospital administration and directs facility operations across all departments in the absence of on-site leadership
• Acts as a resource for decision-making related to patient care services, non-clinical services, and staffing
• Ensures hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied facility-wide
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
