American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulating RN for a 13-week travel contract in Indiana, working 10-hour day shifts across General, GYN, ENT, and Urology cases.

Details

• Work in an 8-room Operating Room department within a hospital setting
• Surgical specialties include General, GYN, ENT, and Urology
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts per week (7a–5p), with Tuesdays off
• Charting is performed in Meditech EMR
• Equipment used includes Stryker Video Equipment, Bovie, and Gyrus
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana or a valid Compact RN license required
• Demonstrated OR circulating nurse competency required
• Two current professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include circulating, patient positioning, and patient prepping for surgical procedures
• Orientation is peer-led using a checklist and competency evaluation
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• 13-week contract
