Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical (Days) position requiring at least 1 year of experience and previous travel experience preferred.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 1–2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
