American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience, night shift availability, and the ability to float across multiple hospital locations within a health system.

• Emergency Department (ER) position within a multi-hospital health system
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Travelers are required to float across up to 7 hospitals within the system based on census and staffing needs (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, OLOL, Camden Satellite, and Berlin Satellite)
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license currently in hand — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — all must be in hand and cannot expire within 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Experience in the specialty must be within the last 12 months
• Adult and pediatric ER experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract signing; only 2 attempts are allowed and the test must be completed on a PC — iOS devices are incompatible and will result in a failed attempt; failure to pass results in contract cancellation
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after will not be accepted, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment
• Candidates with 4 or fewer days of RTO will be prioritized
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Travelers must be fit-tested prior to starting on the unit and must be clean shaven
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be offered a reduced local rate
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position; each candidate must apply individually
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
