American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring telemetry experience, Cerner EMR proficiency, and CPI certification, with night shift scheduling in South Carolina.

Details

• Inpatient Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Telemetry experience is a core component of this role
• Cerner EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS, and CPI (must be Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience in a US hospital, with Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 6 months of travel nurse experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• US Social Security Number required
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, completing admission assessments per policy, and delivering age-appropriate, patient-centered care
• Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to provide appropriate care for all patient populations
• Documents assessments, nursing needs, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policy and regulatory requirements
