American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN for an Occupational Health Manager position requiring at least 2 years of experience and Cerner proficiency at a medical center with two locations in the Irvine/Orange, CA area.

Details

• Position is based across two outpatient occupational health clinic locations in Irvine and Orange, CA
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday (no weekends)
• Shift hours are 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional shifts from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 13-week contract
• Cerner EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational health nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of acute care experience required
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent specialty experience within the past 2 years required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass an EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required, including at least one from a supervisor, director, or manager from the relevant unit

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No RTO permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all time-off requests must be submitted at the start of the assignment and cannot be changed once submitted
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler; prior employment should be disclosed at the time of consideration
• No blocked or self-scheduling allowed
