Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (WICU) position at a prestigious academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and a night shift schedule.

Details

• Weinberg ICU (WICU) is a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery
• Diverse patient population including Trauma, GI Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, Transplant, Vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Floating required to areas of like skill set as needed
• Epic EMR used (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience required
• Experience in a large academic or comparable facility (500+ bed count) required
• Critical Care Certification preferred
• Trauma course completion preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred (2 previous assignments)

• Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
