American Traveler is hiring a float RN for a home health position in the Greater Boston area, requiring at least 1 year of certified home care and case management experience with an active MA RN license.

Details

• Home health setting covering the Greater Boston area, including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Cambridge, Charlestown, Chinatown, Fenway, Financial District, Kenmore, North End, Prudential, South Boston, South End, and West End
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required once every 6 weeks
• Float position requiring travel to assigned patient cases
• EMR: Epic (charting)

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• All certifications must be AHA-issued
• Minimum 1 year of certified home health experience required
• Minimum 1 year of case management experience required
• Ability to travel independently to assigned patient cases
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions permitted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education and support to patients and families
• Performs admission processes and case management duties in accordance with MGB Home Care policies and standards of practice
• Requires thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication
• Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos
• No validated parking is available at Boston locations; public parking lots are available at the candidate's expense, and public transportation is recommended
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
