Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Infusion role in a busy hematology/oncology infusion suite requiring ONS Chemo/Bio Card and recent trauma experience.

Details

• Position is in a hematology/oncology infusion suite within a hospital cancer center
• 30 bed/chair unit serving approximately 70 patients per day
• Responsibilities include the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other non-chemotherapy medications
• Day shift schedule with five 8-hour shifts per week
• No local candidates allowed; candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the past 2 years required
• License must remain active and compliant throughout assignment
• Pediatric hem/onc experience, IV skills, and mediport access experience are preferred but not required
