Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a TN or compact RN license and a minimum of one year recent PACU experience.

Details

• Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital operating room environment
• Day shift, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Assignment length of 13 weeks
• Patient population includes post-operative surgical cases requiring recovery and monitoring

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent PACU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification issued by AHA or ARC, unexpired for at least 30 days after start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• A professional reference is required for consideration
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility; locals are not eligible

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing post-anesthesia care to recovering surgical patients
• Candidates must submit required credentials, including license verification and certification copies, without gaps
• Compliance with hospital policies and dress code is expected
• This assignment does not accept first-time travelers
