Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night shift position on the Burn/Wound Med/Surg Unit, requiring BLS certification and strong med-surg wound care skills.

Details

• Work in a hospital Burn/Wound Med/Surg Unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Assignment includes every other weekend shifts
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Rare floating to other med-surg floors may be required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent med-surg nursing experience required
• Comfortable managing acute and chronic wounds, burns, and related care
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required

• Care for patients with a variety of complex wounds and burns
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
• Holiday shifts scheduled as needed by the unit
