Description

American Traveler is seeking a CVOR RN with at least one year of recent operating room experience, an active SC or compact RN license, and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) of a hospital setting
• Day shift position with 4x10 hour shifts, typically 6:00 to 16:30
• Frequent on-call requirements: at least two days per week and 1-2 weekends per six-week schedule, based on need
• Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required per census demands
• Patient population includes adults requiring cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system with a minimum of one year EPIC experience required
• Local candidates accepted, subject to specific mileage and pay rate rules

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of one year recent CVOR RN experience required
• At least one year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and are subject to approval based on facility needs
• Pending licenses not accepted

Additional Information

• Primary duties include providing perioperative care for cardiovascular surgical patients in the OR
• Free parking is available on-site
• All staff may be required to float to other units in line with demonstrated competencies
• Scrub color and dress code will follow hospital requirements
• Holiday coverage may be required based on operational needs
• Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility; those within 50-99.9 miles may be eligible at a reduced travel rate
